I updated my "Content Management System" (CMS) from DotNetNuke (DNN) v5.1.4 to v5.2.2 and lost some stuff. One of the side-effects was that I couldn't login. I had trouble updating from the start but thankfully I had a backup of the database. Then I had to consider either to go back to v5.1.4 or move forward to v5.2.2. I chose to move forward and in the process was faced with the choice of using a "blog" or "forum" on "Tech Talk".
I will try the "blog" and if that doesn't yield the desired results I will bring back the "forum". So much for a "smooth" in-place "upgrade"...
