Once a computer gets a virus or malware it's security is compromised.  Steps to remove it can be complex depending on which threat is installed.  Some threats can hide from being detected through conventional means.  After the virus or malware has been disabled the cleanup process can begin.

Our virus removal procedures include:

• Clean-up - Removal of existing security products that obviously didn't work.

Do it yourself virus removal tips

Here are a few resources to check before bringing your computer to us for service.  Microsoft produced the "Windows" operating system so logic dictates that the best "security" tools should come from Microsoft.  Right?  Finally, Microsoft has answered the call and has produced "Microsoft Security Essentials", a free Anti-Virus program available for download.  Before downloading and installing "Microsoft Security Essentials", I would suggest using their "PC Safety Scan" website to scan and clean your computer.

If you are unable to open the link or the safety scan will not run or complete successfully then you probably need our services to inoculate the malware that is preventing it.
