Our goal is to make this "service" obsolete. It seems that there are far too many people out there figuring out new ways to disrupt a computers performance and security to steal information. The cost in lost productivity, lost revenue and labor required to clean-up computers and restore it's performance has got to be astronomical.
Once a computer gets a virus or malware it's security is compromised. Steps to remove it can be complex depending on which threat is installed. Some threats can hide from being detected through conventional means. After the virus or malware has been disabled the cleanup process can begin.
Our virus removal procedures include:
- Removal - Initial inoculation of the threat or threats.
- Clean-up - Removal of existing security products that obviously didn't work.
- Repair - Repair damage to operating system files, drivers and applications.
- Install - Installation of a malware protection application to prevent re-infection.
Our prices start at $65 and $125 for severe infections. Worst case, when the damage is too severe that it makes more since to re-install the operating system which costs $149.95.
In most cases we provide same-day service. Call our shop if you have questions...
Do it yourself virus removal tips
Here are a few resources to check before bringing your computer to us for service. Microsoft produced the "Windows" operating system so logic dictates that the best "security" tools should come from Microsoft. Right? Finally, Microsoft has answered the call and has produced "Microsoft Security Essentials", a free Anti-Virus program available for download. Before downloading and installing "Microsoft Security Essentials", I would suggest using their "PC Safety Scan" website to scan and clean your computer.
If you are unable to open the link or the safety scan will not run or complete successfully then you probably need our services to inoculate the malware that is preventing it.
